It is time to pick your songs for the weekend. For me, I love singing about the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Because of what Jesus did, we are forgiven, free, and have eternity in heaven with Him forever!
When picking songs, I look for lyrics that point us to Christ. Songs should influence how we walk and experience God. As said by Pastor Glenn Packiam, “Worship songs are not just expressions of our hearts to God, they shape what we believe about God.”
This Sunday, we will be singing one of those redemptive and faith shaping songs by Hillsong called, “Grace To Grace.” Not only has Jesus risen from the dead, but He will return, and we will forever be with the Lord. I cannot wait to sing it with everyone at Gospel Community.
